Have you ever had one of those days?…

Stop – change the way you’re hearing this. I don’t mean one of THOSE days. I mean the days that remind you why you’re ALIVE. You wake up feeling like your entire body is VIBRATING. (Don’t make it dirty… or DO. I always do.) You may start to worry at first, “What is THIS?” Is it anxiety? What am I anxious about? It’s not anxiety, darling, it’s excitement. Just wait… you’ll get there. You get a text from your best friend, a message from a new member of your life, a phone call (who even calls anymore besides those closest to us and spam dials?) from someone you desperately wanted to talk to. You enjoy that discussion while you unknowingly automatically start setting your intentions for the day. You take your vitamins, set to your daily tasks, you feel a little lighter on your feet. You start to get frustrated… you’re looking for something but can’t find it. You search everywhere. But then, a chance encounter of kindness sets you back on your forward momentum. You smile. You sit down with fresh coffee. OH. THERE IT IS. Right in front of you. And you can’t but feel grateful for the inane object as it magically appears before you. So, you hit shuffle on your music. And the very first song is the exact one you were dying to hear, the one you NEEDED to hit your senses. And you start bouncing, dancing, looking up at the ceiling, lifting your arms toward the sky. Out of nowhere, an old friend reaches to hang out, with people you actually can’t wait to see, at one of your favorite places. And you say “YES”. I am going, not because I’ve been guilted into it, but because I know it’s going to be great. You take out the trash, and with it, throw out all the boring tasks you thought you needed to accomplish today. There it is… the EXCITEMENT. And you just know that no matter what else happens on this day, it can’t bring you down. It won’t. You will not allow it to. You feel like you’re floating and your skin is tingling with anticipation and electricity. You feel so grateful for all these small turns that are leading you to what feels like exactly what you’re supposed to be doing. None of this is happenstance, my dear. This is God. Reminding you that His plan is where you must walk to feel this, that His path for you is already planned and paved ahead, that all the worst days are just leading to this glorious moment. Enjoy it. Today may be the best day of your life. Until the next one like this, and the one after that, for whatever time you’ve been granted here. And if you can just look for the signs, the guidance put right in front of you, just accept the pitfalls that may try to get in your way and redirect yourself back to the journey…Well, then nothing can touch you. And maybe that day wasn’t today. But it can be tomorrow. Keep your faith close and steady. Believe in what’s good. Trust the universe and its process. Look for the good, even when it seems to have forgotten where you live.

Everything will always work out exactly as it was meant to.
